Systems Psychology: Feeling Tone Theory

A novel theory has been developed, which sheds some light on the creative process. This theory conceives creative thoughts as emerging spontaneously from a fabric of sensation and emotion composed of experiential units called "feeling tones." Basic feeling tones, like the primary colors of the rainbow, combine in a nearly infinite number of ways to form a whole spectrum of shades and these represent all aspects of our internal and external experience.

    The Starburst Foundation is a nonprofit research institute based in Schenectady, New York and Athens, Greece.
